my laptop is still dead. What does this mean for Susan and Xassie? Not much. Utilizing Mac products can be controversial, but one thing that unites Mac fanatics is its, well, unity and interconnedtedness.

I have to rebuid a few files and cover photos, but all my raw material (drafts, art, completed books) are fine and backed up sufficiently. I will be moving my operations fully to my iPad Air (4th gen) and possibliy a larger monitor to reflect the iPad’s screen for editing. (I honestly don’t know, a big screen helps me edit—can’t explain it).

Speaking of editing, I’ve re-edited Susan’s Humiliating Hucow Mingling. I was worried that grammatical errors were behind it’s low star ranking, so I ran it through the reading program again. Honestly, I want to fix that book because it stands out like a sorethumb in the line-up.

Finger’s crossed, Susan’s Humiliating Hucow ESCAPE will be released this Friday. I’m thinking I will celebrate this release by making it free for the five days on Amazon like I did with the others. The only difference is that I really want to advertise differently. Shameless Book Deals is awesome and so is Excite Spice. I’ve enjoyed both of those and seen resutls.

As for the farm, we are planning our herb garden now. I checked the American Ginsing and don’t see anyting burrowing or digging at it, so that’s a good sign. I don’t know if I was able to get them in the ground in time this year. I figure we will see activity by May or June and then we’ll know.

The horses are all doing really well. The mare is starting to shed her super fuzzy coat. I rubbed her head today when she was let out to the upper pasture and my hand came away coated in hair. The two geldings weren’t that way at all.
