Whew. It’s been a long week and it’s only Wednesday.
I’m sorry I missed my weekly “blog post on Monday.” I was actually finishing up book 9 for Susan and I’ve realized I do NOT want to let her go. She is just on much fun.
Once the new book publishes, I’ll make it free sometimes before the end of the month. I’ll be sure to advertise that here.
I’m headed home for a while and will be in Omaha instead of Mississippi. There is just so much more time for writing when I’m away from the farm and the work there. I’ll only be home for 12 days. It’s a short time and I don’t want to waste any of it there doing stuff that’s not “being with family.”
That said, Susan 10 has almost 2k words. I was worried that ending Susan 9 with her decision would lead to an anti-climax of sorts. And goodness knows Susan hates those!! However, when I re-read the whole thing, I think it leaves at a very nice spot to start book 10.
No spoilers, but let’s just say there is a mention of where I think Susan’s next adventure lies in book 9. I can almost see her a super sexy, super horny, hucow secret agent who specializes in busting up bad hucow establishments.
True, I may be cutting my teeth here. The super secret agent story has been on the burner for a while. Let’s hope with the 12 day vacation from the farm, I can get it started.
The report from the farm is good. It’s been 85 degrees for about 2 weeks in Mississippi. I do love my early springs.
I let the horses out (we are running out of hay and they need to graze about twice a day in the upper pasture to make up).
