I am astounded at the outpouring of love for The Milk of Hucow Kindness series. I got an orange banner last week and I’m officially over the moon.

I am worrying about my star ratings on Amazon. I understand that I am very new to this and won’t be cranking out 4-5 star work every time, but dang I wish I could.

When I consider what keeps me from the top ratings, the only answer I can come up with is time. Last week, I was very disapointed in my second chapter, but felt I had to publish anyway because I had to get down to Mississippi by Friday to get my dad to the hospital for minor surgery.

I hate that. I also hate that I have to recreate my writing space down here in Mississippi. Update!!! Ha! I just lost my MacBook Pro. Wow. Okay. Going to need a week off to regroup. Going back to the notion of a space for writing, the last time I had this space, I kept getting a cramp in my upper back because my monitor wasn’t situated correctly. I need to take some time and figure all that out so that I don’t endure the same physical torture I did last time I was here.

The Farm is doing well. We’ve had a lot of rain to much of my time is spent wiping the feet of the puppies and trying vainly to keep mud out of the house. Momma and Daddy are both feeling fine as frog hair

With that in mind, I’m thinking of re-vamping my writing schedule and approach to marketing. I’m not exactly sure what to do now, but I feel that relaxinc the scheudle to publication every two weeks would hep me trememdously. Perhaps I can ramp back up in the summer.
