Okay. You caught me. Xassie Xhali and Bessie Blanco are the same person–ME! I live in Mississippi most of the time on an actual farm. I\’ve enjoyed writing for years as an English teacher, but because of strict morality clauses, I have only been able to publish now in retirement. Yes, I\’m old. Over fifty seems to be the prime for a lot of women, so I\’m not complaining.

In May of this year (2022), my sister and best friend (same person) passed away in a freak medication interaction. My sister was a prude, but she always encouraged my writing and me. In a way, publishing and doing this is reaching out to the universe and saying, \”Hey, look here, sweet D. I did what we always talked about.\” When I publish, I feel like I\’m living my best life. I\’m pretty sure that\’s what she would want.

I guess that begs the question: is my best life publishing smut? I\’m not really sure. I really like reading and writing smut. Eventually, I\’d like to expand to romance, but the longer works are arduous–goal-wise for me right now. It\’s just too big and I\’m excited to publish and, quite frankly, work to keep the lights on in the barn. (I\’m lying–the barn is solar–but I still have pet and child food to buy).

Do I enjoy Hucow writing? Absolutely. I feel like it\’s got some of the best qualities of the BDSM community mixed with the wholesomeness of an Agrarian culture. There\’s also a lot of leeway for creativity and innovation.

I still teach technology part-time and use the balance of my day doing daily chores with my parents
